I do not have much to say, and yet I keep umpteen different blogs, each lasting perhaps a season. Though there are a few exceptions - few blogs which have now been my companions of many seasons and many years. Most of these other blogs, short-lived as well as long-lived, are rough-notebooks of sorts, where I pour out unedited thoughts and views, mostly anonymously.
But there's a part of me that ardently wishes to frame sentences coherently, and create a fair copy worthy writing. This blog is my attempt at edited drafts, cleaner sentences and more coherent writing (that being the hope, desire and objective of this new blog). I must note that not all my rough drafts are rough, and many are inspired by books I read, poems I enjoy or interesting things and people I stumble across. But reading them after a long while I sometimes get annoyed by the writing, even though I enjoy the content. So this note here is a gentle reminder to self to spend a little more time editing and cleaning the writing.
Another way to consider this blog is my way of graduating, from rough to some relatively fair notes. The audience stays the same, mostly myself.
So here we go. Ahoy!
